At Rivet School, you'll learn through a project-based curriculum that mimics real problems facing real people and communities. 

You'll learn valuable skills like how to work with a diverse team, use data to make better choices, and become a more influential communicator. 

Degrees are offered through our non-profit, accredited partner: Southern New Hampshire University.

Set your own pace

Instead of rushing to meet random deadlines, you'll focus on one project at a time. Master skills and move on quickly, or take your time and get support from your coach along the way. 

Every student's path is different, and we'll help you set ambitious but realistic goals. Most of our Bridge students will work to earn their BA in under three years. To get there, you'll meet weekly (virtually and in person, when possible) with your cohort and coach and attend office hours to get extra support.

Meet your College Coach, Shelly. She knows how to motivate students to reach their goals, and is an expert on your college projects. After supporting more than 45 Rivet School students over the last year, she's excited to build the Bridge program alongside our first cohort (that's you!). 

Beyond your coach, you'll have access to online tutoring services and support from your classmates and the Oakland Promise community.
